The Electrician Technician program at UEI College-Huntington Park is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to begin a rewarding career as an electrician in as little as 10 months. This comprehensive program focuses on both theoretical understanding and practical application, teaching students how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The hybrid learning model offers flexibility by combining online coursework with hands-on lab training, where students gain real-world experience through wiring mock stations. Students will learn about electrical wiring, conduit bending, programmable logic controllers, and NEC code requirements, preparing them for a variety of roles such as alarm electrician, electrical troubleshooter, and maintenance electrician. Upon graduation, students are not only ready to enter the candidate pool, but also supported by UEI’s Career Services, which assists with resume building, mock interviews, and job placement, ensuring graduates are confident and prepared to make a meaningful impact in the electrical field.
