The Electrician program at Kellogg Community College (KCC) provides students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to succeed in the electrical trades. This program is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level positions as electricians in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Students will learn the principles of electrical theory, wiring methods, blueprint reading, motor controls, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Emphasis is placed on safety practices and regulations throughout the program. Expect hands-on lab experiences that allow students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, including wiring simulations, motor control circuits, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
