The Electrician program at Pennco Tech is a comprehensive, hands-on course designed to prepare students for a successful career in the electrical field. In approximately 26 weeks, you’ll gain the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to become a qualified electrician. The curriculum emphasizes a hands-on learning approach, utilizing a dedicated stick-house lab facility and industry-recognized curriculum that equips students with the skills employers value most. Students will learn key techniques, safety procedures, blueprint reading, and relevant government regulations. The program also introduces students to the growing field of renewable energy, including solar photovoltaics. Pennco Tech offers day and evening classes to accommodate various schedules, and students have the opportunity to obtain OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. Furthermore, Pennco Tech’s Career Services department provides ongoing support to graduates, assisting with resume building, interview preparation, and connecting them with potential employers.
